This work explores the quiet tension between what is seen and what is felt.
A soft, expansive surface sits above a fractured horizon, where textures begin to shift, crack, and deepen.
Inspired by earth, stone, and the slow formation of natural layers, the piece reflects the duality of human experience, the calm we present, and the complexity that often lies beneath.
There is a sense of stillness held at the surface, while below, darker tones and raw textures suggest movement, pressure, and the unseen. Like sediment shaped over time, each layer carries its own history, forming something both grounded and unresolved.
This work sits in that in-between space, where calm and tension coexist, and where depth is not immediately visible, but always present.
