This piece explores the quiet tension between form and dissolution.
Soft, atmospheric layers create a sense of stillness, while fragments of colour and darker forms interrupt the surface, suggesting something trying to take shape, yet never fully arriving.
There is a push and pull between control and release, where pigment drips, fades, and settles in its own time. Inspired by natural elements like weathered surfaces, mist, and shifting light, the work reflects how change often happens subtly, beneath what we first perceive.
It sits in that in-between space, where something is both emerging and fading, held momentarily before it transforms again.
Comes with handmade floating frame made from Tasmanian oak.
