Remnants I explores the quiet traces left behind by landscape, time and change. A pale, mineral-like surface is interrupted by a fractured band of charcoal, rust and earthy pigment, creating the impression of a distant horizon weathered by the elements.
Cracks, marks and irregular textures become part of the work's language, suggesting surfaces shaped slowly over time. What remains is imperfect yet enduring — evidence of what has passed and what continues to hold its place.
As part of the Remnants series, the work considers the beauty found in fragments and traces. Rather than seeking perfection, it celebrates the marks that remain: subtle records of movement, transformation and time embedded within the surface.
